It never talks to the internet
PillBox makes no network requests at all. Even the Australian medicines database is bundled in the app rather than looked up online.
Encrypted on your iPhone
Your medication list and dose history live in iOS-encrypted storage on your device. No analytics, no tracking, no profiling.
Private does not mean stuck. Back up everything as a single file (JSON) to move to a new phone, or share your medication list or full dose history as clean Markdown for your doctor. Your data leaves your phone only when you choose to send it.

Search by name, brand, or active ingredient, and PillBox fills in the rest — pulling structured detail from two official sources, the PBS and the Australian Medicines Terminology (AMT). Both come bundled in the app and update periodically, so it stays private and works fully offline.
